Volunteering Opportunities in Teaching and Education

Our volunteer teaching and education opportunities work along with schools, educational institutes, and organizations, promoting education in local communities. Our programs focus on a myriad of educational fields, including teaching English to children in local villas (poor neighborhood), working with children at local neighborhood community centers, educating at-risk women and children, teaching employment skills, educating communities on health issues, and teaching local youth various day-to-day skills.

Volunteer Teaching English


Our teaching English volunteer opportunity takes place in a local villa (poor neighborhood) where teachers will teach English through books, games, activities, and more, to local children.

At-Risk Women and Children Volunteer


The at-risk women and children volunteer program focuses on teaching women and children various skills, including general jobs skills as well as local trade skills.

Education and Youth Outreach


In our education and youth outreach opportunity volunteers will teach English, communications, sports, and more, and work towards bringing together and strengthening local communities.

Volunteer Requirements

  • CV
  • Either Spanish, or a fluent English level

Start Dates

  • Every Monday during the Year
*Please be aware that volunteer placements from December to March may be limited due to the Argentina summer (vacation breaks), particularly referring to education related placements. If you wish to volunteer during these months, please apply as early as possible and keep other placements in mind.

Commitment

  • 1 month minimum up to 6 months (intervals are added in one month periods).

Volunteer Language Requirements

  • Options for zero level and up, however volunteers with no Spanish level are strongly advised to take some brush up courses for working in the local community! Please check out our Volunteer + Spanish page to request Spanish courses as well!
  • For all English teaching volunteer positions: Native English speaker or have completed the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or IELTS (International English Language Testing System), level 6, or the CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English), or a university degree from one of the following countries: Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, United Kingdom or the United States of America.
