Volunteer Life
Cultural Activities
Volunteers have the opportunity to participate in a different activity every day of the week during their time abroad in Buenos Aires. These activities give volunteers a chance to explore Buenos Aires, learn more about the culture, meet new people, and create a complete cultural immersion experience.
The coordination of these activities is included in every volunteer's program. Activities are usually free or include a small fee such as entrance or meal costs. The staff at Expanish is always on hand to answer any questions volunteers may have.

Workshops
Expanish Volunteer encourages all volunteers to participate in our exciting and educational workshops in Buenos Aires that give volunteers the chance to practice their Spanish with native speakers, learn new and useful skills outside of their volunteer placement, as well as meet Argentine locals.
Workshops come in packages of 2, 4, or 8 classes. Volunteers can reserve and arrange for workshops before or after their arrival in Buenos Aires.
Tango
Gaining popularity in the early 1900's and today claiming rank as Argentina's national dance, the Tango is an enchanting mix of sophisticated and seductive dance moves that will excite even the most modest dancer. Volunteers have the chance to learn about this passionate dance first hand; through formal instruction and dance floor practice, instructors use various forms of Tango music to teach students of all levels (beginner-advanced) both traditional steps and the latest improvisational techniques.
