Volunteer Community Development

Our volunteer community development programs are directed towards reconnecting, rebuilding, and strengthening local communities in Argentina. Volunteers will be involved in creating positive change for underprivileged families, rebuilding homes in local communities, encouraging community communication and participation, as well working to fight poverty through rural development and community education.

Community Planning & Volunteer Housing Development Manager

Our volunteer community planning opportunities and other community related programs are designed for those volunteers looking to help and strengthen local communities through a myriad of volunteer positions and opportunities.

Community Foundation Volunteer

Our community foundation volunteer opportunity focuses on improving the lives of local underprivileged families through community cooperation, awareness, education, and more.

Home Construction Volunteer

The home construction volunteer program is directed by a volunteer housing development manager who organizes other volunteers to participate in activities such as the planning, organizing, and rebuilding of homes in local communities.

Community Development Volunteer

The community development volunteer opportunity works towards developing a culture of community through education, work, and promoting citizenship. Volunteers will participate in workshops, educational programs, community meetings, and more.

Volunteer Requirements

Start Dates

Every Monday during the year

*Please be aware that volunteer placements from December to March may be limited due to the Argentina summer (vacation breaks), particularly referring to education related placements. If you wish to volunteer during these months, please apply as early as possible and keep other placements in mind.

Commitment

1 month minimum up to 6 months (intervals are added in one month periods, some 2 week projects may be available).

Volunteer Language Requirements

Options for zero level and up, however volunteers with no Spanish level are strongly advised to take some brush up courses for working in the local community! Please check out our Volunteer + Spanish page to request Spanish courses as well!
