Accommodation in Buenos Aires
At Expanish, we offer our volunteers in our volunteer program abroad three excellent accommodation options during their stay in beautiful Buenos Aires. We have carefully researched and investigated each option in regards to cleanliness, safety, proximity to the volunteer placement, and special requests, in order to meet our volunteer’s needs and provide them with most suitable and comfortable accommodation possible.
Homestay with Meals
Our homestay option is perfect for volunteers looking to live with an Argentine family, practice their Spanish, and learn about local tradition and culture. Families will provide students with a private room, daily breakfast and dinner, information and advice about the city, and an in depth perspective of the Argentine way of life. The homestay family may be conformed by a married couple, a couple with children, a señora (single woman), etc.
Shared Apartment
Our shared apartment is ideal for volunteers wanting more freedom and responsibility, as volunteers will be responsible to clean the apartment, prepare meals, etc. Volunteers will be offered a private room and will live with anywhere from just two to a dozen other people (relative to the size of the apartment) composed of foreigners and/or locals. The other members of the shared apartment are often other volunteers, students, or young professionals living in Buenos Aires.
Hostel
At Expanish we offer our volunteers two great hostel options, each located in a secure and popular area of Buenos Aires. A hostel provides a back-packer’s atmosphere, offering independence and the opportunity to live with other travelers. Each hostel has been chosen in respect to area, safety, cleanliness, amenities, etc.
Hostel BA Stop
Right in the middle of downtown and near to the business centre, shopping avenues and malls, restaurants and cafes, and many modes of transportation, this hostel offers 6 person dorm rooms and separate male and female bathrooms. Each dorm has free security lockers.

Hostel Giramondo
Located in the beautifully green Palermo, this trendy hostel is near some of the city's best restaurants, bars, parks, and shopping areas. The hostel offers a 6 person dorm and a 10 person dorm, each with free security lockers and shared bathrooms.
