‘A picture says a thousand words’ and if you are traveling abroad in Argentina, photos are definitely a great way to remember your journey in Buenos Aires for the rest of your life.  Expanish offers a photography workshop that allows volunteers to learn how to professionally take photos, giving them the opportunity to document their experience abroad, the people they have met, and much more.

Some volunteers say that the photos that they took during their program can bring them right back to those special moments, such as teaching children to read, helping communities build new houses and buildings, or nursing an animal back to health.

The Photography Workshop
The photography workshop includes the following elements:

·    Basics of photography
·    Light and its different forms
·    Formats and shutter speed
·    Video recording
·    Deep field and diaphragm
·    Exposure
·    Composition
·    Poses (people)
·    Analysis of photos
·    Insight to the ‘photographic eye’

The workshop is taught by a professional photographer who studied in both Argentina and the United States and has won various awards here in Buenos Aires.  She speaks both English and Spanish.  Workshops come in classes or 2, 4, and 6.

The workshop is given in the afternoons. All materials are included.
