Where to go this September in Buenos Aires?

Winter is coming to end, the sun is starting to shine brighter and longer, and you can already feel that spring vibe in the air. This is the time when some many volunteers in Buenos Aires feel the need to head out of the city for a weekend, and explore the areas around the capital, where one can really enjoy the sun.

Where can you go this September to enjoy the weather?

Cariló

Cariló is a very small and exclusive beach town located on the Atlantic coast, only about three and a half hours from Buenos Aires and one of the newest additions to the beaches in this part of the country.

The place is gorgeous; long white stretches of beach, streets of sand and surroundings of pine forests, are just a few of the natural beauties in and around the resort.  Cariló itself houses dozens of hotels and cabins not far from the residential area where the people of Argentina have their summer houses. The town is a mix of wood and stone; the roads are made of sand, and everything has been designed with a ‘forest/cabin’ feel.  At the centre of town is a beautiful complex, full of trendy stores, upscale restaurants, and lovely shops and boutiques, definitely expressing the exclusivity of Cariló.

Cariló has varied activities and excursions for its visitors including horseback riding, hiking, 4×4 quad adventures, photography safaris, and sport matches such as beach soccer, volleyball, and rugby.  For this reason, Cariló can be visited throughout the year whether you are coming to soak up the sun, enjoy fine dining and shopping, or to participate in various sports and activities around the area.

If you are volunteering in Buenos Aires, round up a group of friends and volunteers, rent a cabin, hop on the bus, and stay for the weekend in Cariló!
